“Being on a visit in Berlin and looking for something to do on a spare weekend, I decided to take Alma’s recent lino-cut class, because the dates/times as well as the location were very convenient for me. I have no regrets! At the start Alma explained the process of lino-cutting clearly, and she offered many helpful hints during the 2-day workshop. I found the small group size very pleasant, as well as the international group of attendees. I learned much more than I had expected, which was partly because Alma explained another technique of lino-cutting, which ended up making the printing process more like using puzzle pieces, and therefore much more intricate and challenging than what I had done the first day. Both techniques have opened up a wonderful world of possibilities for me, and I am looking forward to exploring them more on my own. As well, I appreciated Alma’s focus on and keen supervision of us participants using safe lino-cutting techniques, as well as the fact that all workshop materials were provided.”
